Feeding Homeless Needy People
At the BASS (Bhagyanagar Ayyappa Seva Samithi), we recognize that access to nutritious food is a basic human right—one that many homeless individuals and poor patients are tragically deprived of. Our mission is to extend compassion through action by providing healthy, hygienic meals to those who need it most, especially those waiting outside hospitals with little or no support.
Many of the people we serve are caregivers, family members, or patients themselves who cannot afford regular meals. They face daily struggles not only with illness and uncertainty but also with hunger and neglect. We believe no one should have to suffer through such hardship without the dignity of a wholesome meal.
To address this, we organize regular food distribution drives, powered by our dedicated volunteers and supported by partnerships with local organizations. These efforts are carefully planned to reach the most vulnerable populations—those living on the streets, outside hospitals, or in temporary shelters—ensuring help reaches those who need it most.
What sets our work apart is our commitment to quality and nutrition. Each meal is thoughtfully prepared to be balanced, nourishing, and respectful of specific dietary needs.
