| Shree Bhagyanagar Ayyappa Seva Samithi (BASS) has been humbly serving devotees for many years through its noble Prasad Distribution Seva on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Nimajjan at Osmangunj, Hyderabad. With deep devotion and commitment, the Samithi has been offering hot, fresh, and sanctified prasadam to thousands of devotees returning after participating in the grand immersion of Lord Ganesha.
Over the years, this seva has grown into a tradition of compassion and community service, bringing together devotees, volunteers, and well-wishers in the spirit of selfless service (seva). Each meal is lovingly prepared and served, ensuring that no devotee returning from the long procession goes hungry. In 2025, BASS is taking this sacred seva to even greater heights. With the blessings of Lord Ayyappa and Lord Ganesha, the Samithi aims to serve more than 1 lakh devotees wholesome, freshly prepared meals. The Prasad Distribution Seva will run continuously from 12 noon till 5 AM, ensuring round-the-clock service for devotees throughout the immersion day and night. This initiative is not just about serving food, but about spreading blessings, compassion, and the true essence of Sanatana Dharma—Atithi Devo Bhava (the guest is equivalent to God). It is a heartfelt offering of gratitude, faith, and community harmony, made possible through the collective support of volunteers, donors, and devotees. |
