Provide Food and Education to Orphans in India
This Balyam Child Care (BASS) orphanage home is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for 50 orphaned and street children. It serves as a sanctuary where children who have faced neglect, abandonment, or extreme poverty can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
The home is managed by a dedicated team comprising 10 compassionate caregivers, one qualified teacher, and several support staff who work tirelessly to ensure the physical, emotional, and educational well-being of every child. The children are provided with three wholesome and nutritious meals each day to support their healthy growth and development.
To ensure access to quality education, each child receives a full set of schoolbooks and four sets of clean, comfortable uniforms. Education is a top priority, and all children are enrolled in nearby schools, attending classes regularly from Grade I to Grade X. Their academic performance is closely monitored, and they are showing encouraging progress in their studies.
Beyond academics, the home emphasizes the importance of holistic development. Children engage in various indoor and outdoor games, which help promote teamwork, confidence, and physical fitness. The facility also offers opportunities to learn arts, crafts, music, and other hobbies—encouraging creativity and self-expression.
Every effort is made to create a family-like atmosphere where the children feel loved, secure, and valued. The goal of the orphanage is not only to provide shelter but to equip each child with the tools and confidence needed to lead a fulfilling and independent life.
